Confederation of Bagmati Province Industries (CBPI) was established in 2020 to help create a conducive environment for industries in Bagmati province of Nepal. As a provincial level organization affiliated with Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), it aims to establish creative industrial development by fostering friendly relation between Province level government authorities and Industrial organizations and associations. It also aims to foster healthy competition, skilled management, secure investment and employment creation within the province.
CBPI is encouraging new investments in the province and facilitating to solve industrial conflicts. CBPI has been having frequent interactions with the Bagmati province government and lobbying for industry friendly laws and legislations. The organization runs different types of trainings, industrial visits and information sharing seminars to build capacity of industrialists.
CBPI, as the umbrella organization of industries in the Bagmati province, deals with policy issues. It advocates for investment friendly policies at provincial and national level. On one hand it encourages the industries to adhere to the existing laws and regulations, and on the other hand, it urges for the elimination (if not ease) of those laws and regulation which discourage investment and hinders economic growth. CBPI also provides a forum for the members and leaders of production sector to discuss the problems facing them and find out pragmatic solutions.
Additionally, CBPI conducts trainings, workshops and industrial visits and involves the industrialists in such activities to make them abreast with latest development, listen to their issues and suggestions and foster industrial growth in the province.
